Creating an environment that protects the life, health and safety of individuals within a business or a home is an essential component to sustainable design. NGA works with all types of clients in assisting them with code compliance relative to City, State and National Building codes.  Code compliance work is comprised of assessment, surveying, recommendations and implementation of modifications.

Recently, NGA worked with Verizon in updating 90% of their New York City locations to meet Local Law #5, a city-wide fire safety standard for commercial spaces. In the past, the firm has also worked with local businesses and churches in complying with American Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations to access and usability standards.
